A small team in Foshan that helps foreign buyers purchase building materials the way local developers do – directly from factories, with someone checking the goods.
Who we are
Building Materials China is the building-materials arm of a Guangzhou trading company that has been helping foreign buyers in Guangdong for years, across furniture, building materials and industrial products. Our team mixes foreign staff who understand what an importer or a villa owner needs and Chinese staff who grew up around Foshan’s factories. We speak English, Chinese, Russian, Hebrew, Spanish, French and Arabic between us.
What we believe
- One point of contact. Tiles, sanitary ware, aluminium, lighting – one team follows the whole order, from the first quote to the loaded container.
- Specification beats negotiation. Most problems with Chinese orders come from vague specifications, not from bad factories. We write everything down, in Chinese, before money moves.
- Be there. Photos from the line, a person at the final inspection, a person at the loading. It is the only quality system that works.
- Long relationships with a few factories. We would rather bring the same good factories repeat business than chase the cheapest quote every time.
Where we are
Foshan (Chancheng), with our parent company’s offices in Guangzhou and Hong Kong. We are 45 minutes from Guangzhou Baiyun airport and within an hour of the tile, sanitary ware, aluminium and lighting clusters.

We are an independent sourcing and buying-assistance company. We are not the manufacturer of the products we help you source. Where you buy goods, the sales contract is between you and the manufacturer or supplier and you pay them directly, while we provide the sourcing, coordination, inspection and follow-up services described on this page.
